3 daily ‘good for you’ tips

It’s good to have a citrus fruit every day, … and drink at least half your daily water by late morning… and start your day with a good sprinkle of the LSA combo of linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds (from my old liver cleanse diet book.) A good source of protein, essential fatty acids, minerals, and fibre.

 

Nuts and Seeds

Add 3 or 4 tablespoons of this mix . I mix it up and keep in a jar in the fridge. It’s nutty, and slightly sweet from the almonds.
3 part linseeds / flaxseeds
2 parts sunflower seeds
1 part almonds
A part can be a spoon or a cup or whatever 🙂

 

Equipment needed

hand blender chopping bowl or spice grinder ( I used my Bamix Swissline )
Microwave

 

Optional warming spices

Of course, I mixed in some freshly ground cinnamon and ginger too;;) hmmm it’s even better when warmed, than the well known ‘Moroccan oranges with cinnamon’ cold dessert.

 

Sweetness

 One orange… Finally drizzled with agave syrup. You don’t need much. And could replace it with … coconut yoghurt, any healthy yoghurt. There’s a thought ! 😋 😋 😋
