Silicone Donut Tray

I saw a brilliant easy recipe for a more healthy way to make doughnuts / donuts …  in the oven ! You’ll need this simple tool.

It was on an Instagram reel by Maxlamanna –  he is sooo fast, and you need to be quick to write it down so I watched it several times and here it is… to catch his recipe – for vegan donuts.

(For the non vegan recipe, just take the word vegan or plant based out ! )
Start with stewed apples. Then blend them till they’re smoooooth ( hand blender time!)
Makes 9-12 donuts.200g flour, 80g sugar, 1tsp baking pwdr, 1/4tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 240ml plant based milk, 3 TBsp apple sauce, 1 tspn vegan melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Preheat oven to 180deg C
Mix / whisk all dry ingredients, then combine with wet ones – to make a ‘not too thick’ batter.
Spoon or pipe into the moulds till they are 3/4 full ( gives them room to rise).
Bake for 10-12 mins till light golden brown.
Allow them to cool then dip in some melted vegan butter, then dip in sugar and cinnamon mixture to coat.
Eat !! “
