Easy sausage and beans
Just 3 main ingredients !
Our real go to comfort foods here, as opposed to our potatoes or baked beans or brilliant British pork sausages (we can’t get them here ).
Should be on weight watchers too cos it’s so darned hot that you eat it sooo slowly and mindfully that it fills you up quickly!
So you can swap out the sausage for one you prefer ( add chilli or sauce to flavour), you can swap the beans for other white ones or baked beans, or potatoes or both !
Serves 2-3 hungry people
1. Slice up about 4inches of thick spicy soft chorizo
2. Add to…
1 Tin chopped tomatoes
1 clove garlic chopped finely
3. Mix them up as a base on a shallow ovenproof dish (add some fresh tomatoes if you have them)
4. Top with drained butter beans and sprinkle with salt and pepper. ?Keep the beans at the top so they go crispy?
5. Oven bake for about 20mins or till ready (180℃)
